Yes, you must have a fuse diagram under the bonnet to see which one to change.

Both headlights went out at the same time ? i still have side lights, spots and main beam

Depending on the year and model Ford, there could be fuses for the headlights, or a circuit breaker inside the headlight switch.
The dimmer switch could have failed.

Where is fuses for headlights located for 1991 Honda LX

Hello Jeff, I've seen this before, a while back on a Pontiac Sunbird. A friend called me with the same issue as you. I did come checking of (looking for low resistance using a ohm meter) the low-beam elements, both were open (no resistance, which comes from the little spiral wire just like a regular light bulb). This is what I believe happened to you. One headlight went out previously but still having one that worked you didn't really notice. You did notice however when the last and only low-beam filament went out and this lead you to believe (as did my friend) that both went out together. You probably need to change both bulbs. Check first each low-beam, unplugged of course with a ohm meter to confirm. I favor those bluish bulbs, got mine at Pep Boys (Pilot brand?). You can see better with those in my honest opinion.

Headlights went out on a 98 ford escort while driving

if both headlights went out at the same time, check your fuses. because high beams use more power than headlights, they are often on a separate fuse. if fuses are fine, replace the headlights.

Yes, there is a fuse for your lights. It is in the fuse box under your hood. It is probably called head lamp

Both headlights went out yesterday, I am thinking it was a fuse, to blow both lights at the same time ?

Appereantly headlight on the Kia do not last long, I have lost count of headlamp replacements. Basically, I would say that they last about 5-6 months or less, and we don't do a lot of driving. We have learned to turn off our headlights during the day to minimize run time and on/off surges. We have already had to deal with one fix-it ticket and we are constantly worried about getting pulled over because one of the headlights could blow at any moment. I buy headlights in two packs now to save money. Before you change the headlights check the fuses, in both fuse boxes for any blown fuses, One is under the hood to your right side beneath a black case I beleive, and the other is in the car, near the drivers left leg on the wall.

The right headlight won't rotate to the up position.(1994 saturn)

The motor probably went out, or even a just fuse. There is a manual way to raise. There' a adjustment screw on top of the light, turn it until the headlight is up even with the other side. Good luck and keep me posted.

Headlight fuse 1998 firebird

The fuse box you are looking for is under the hood. You will find a black square box and it should say FUSE on top. Take the lid off and the cover should have the location of the headlamp fuse. If it is not the fuse/breaker it could be a bad dimmer switch in the column.
