How do u remove the front rotor on an 83 toyota pick up truck?

Take the brake calipers off, the caliper mount(if applicable) and then hit the sides of the rotor with a heavy hammer until the rotor frees itself.....UNLESS you have 4 wheel drive, then you must disassemble the hub assembly.

Hope this helps
Positive Feedback ALWAYS Appreciated :)

Red light is on the odometer. It says check

A red light on the odometer in Camry's indicates a maitenance rquired condition such as air filter, oil change, or other detected change in performance picked up by the Camry's on board diagnostics compute r(OBD). The light can be reset and the instructions are in your owners manual as well as online. However if it has come on and you HAVENT done regular maintenance its time!

Toyota Previa Odometer stopped working. Speedometer works fine, but odometer doesn't move. trip odometer also doesn't move.

Lucky you... we all dream of that day!

Why fix a gift of that ... you've got angels!

Suggestion:
1. Change oil every 3 months
2. If you really want to fix it... check the line, load with graphite as per manual.

The odometer does not work at all, what could be the problem?

Hello TDK.
If the speedometer is working and not the odometer the problem is in the speedometer housing and to repair will need replacement.
An internal gear is broken and not allowing the transfer of rotation from the speedometer through to the odometer.
I had a 83 Grand Prix. Beautiful car! Wish I had a new one.
Take care and best of the season to you.

2003 Toyota Corolla - Odometer stopped working yesterday when it hit 299,999 kms's- could this be a fuse issue?

It appears to be a known limitation…
Nicole Grant of Toyota Canada public relations replies:
“Toyota has become aware that on 2003-2008 model-year Corolla and Matrix vehicles, odometer mileage is recorded accurately only up to 299,999 km. A new odometer must then be installed.

Our dealerships record mileage and service dates when an odometer is replaced. A copy of these records is placed in the owner's manual, along with a sticker on the odometer indicating that it was replaced.

Should a used-car buyer have any questions concerning the odometer reading, they may contact Toyota Canada or inquire at the motor vehicle office in the province where the vehicle was originally sold.”

A: Mohamed Bouchama, executive director of Car Help Canada (www.carhelpcanada.com; 416-651-0555), a non-profit consumer advocacy group, replies:
“Toyota should be responsible for the total cost of the repairs. It should "do the right thing by consumers" and recall every vehicle that has this problem due to their factory defective part.”
