Can't exactly say but do it first and have look, I if you get your car to dealer workshop for service they will check fault code free it's a part or service then technician will let you know is there a some thing wrong, possibly faulty exhaust gas re circulation valve or air mass sensor, better get check first,

Kia carens oil light staying on engine sluggish

Hi John, The oil pressure warning light is indicating pressure not level. You say the warning light is on at all times and the engine is losing power? I believe you should have a compression test carried out on the vehicle. It seems highly possible there has been severe damage to the engine. Is the engine emitting any strange sounds? How long has the oil light been on? How often do you service the vehicle by replacing all filters and engine oil? What engine oil do you use? Regards John

05 suzuki forenza running sluggish

Generally, fuel problems cause an engine to lack power.
If the check engine light is on you should have it scanned for trouble codes. The fuel filter should be replaced every 30-50,000 miles and the air filter checked at every oil change.

Check engine light on after oil change

if this happened after an oil change, it is best to check that the oil filter and sump plug are tightened and sealed correctly (not leaking) also check that the level and type of oil is correct

Service engine light on my Infinity 2001 QX4 4WD goes on and stays on usually for a couple of weeks then stays off for weeks, the code shows up as 420-430 which I think is catalytic converter, it's been...

The Service Engine Light means, time for an oil change and other regular maintainance items like engine air filter, check all other fluids, lube chassis, it's a reminder to take care of your car. When the maintainence is done, then you or whoever works on it resets the light, and it will come on again at the next proper interval. Every 3000 miles or 3 months whichever comes first is the standard.
Take good care of your car, it will cost you a bit, but your car will be happy and it will take good care of you. Neglect your car, it'll cost you much much more and you'll be sorry.

Sluggish performance and engine light - added new plugs and oil

You need to check for engine codes to see what is wrong. Bring it to a parts store for a free scan for codes. The check engine light indicates a problem, probably the emissions system, which is causing the poor performance. The parts store will plug a hand held scan tool into the cars diagnostic port (usually located under the dash) and 'read' any codes stored in the cars computer. They can them tell you what code #'s come up, what they mean, and how to correct the problem. If you have any questions after that, post them here w/ the code #;s for further help.
