With the engine off, try using a soapy solution using dishwashing liquid, and rag to clean the belt and pulleys. Antifreeze is very slippery and sticks to surfaces. Clean it the best you can, and also tighten the belt slightly.

The belt has most likely moved either in or out on the bottom pulley. Check it first. I had the same problem it looked ok but was out one groove missleading designed pulley.

Recently had my thermostat changed and now fluid spills over from my reservoir. Almost daily. I then replaced the cap but it still happens? Does my car need a thermostat?

why was the thermostat replaced in the fist place? I suspect you have head gasket seepage, pressurizing the cooling system , pushing coolant out. have the cooling system "block checked" for combustion gases in the cooling system

Problem with my 2000 ford taurus water pump.

I just had that same problem with the antifreeze leaking and I thought it was my water pump but I pulled the antifreeze tank off and it was cracked all along the bottom and that was causing the antifreeze to leak out real bad so I went to a nearby junkyard and found a new tank and replaced the cracked one and now it works just fine with no leaks. I hope this works for you liked it worked for me.
