How much does it cost to have someone replace pushrods in a 2001 Camaro v6 3.8l

About 3 hrs start to finish if only the pushrods
But the extra costs and time for the damage caused by the faulty parts could take 30-40 hrs to repair

Sure, the cam is a fairly stout Crower hydraulic. installed straight up, dot to dot, firing order 18436572 counter clockwise with number one being dricers side closest to the front of the car. I get an occasional pop but nothing else.

Have a knock in my 2000 2.5 jeep cherokee just had the head rebuilt new lifters and pushrods can't ajust rockerarm it's torque to the right setting

I'm not sure where your knock is coming from, but If you rev your engine up and the knock becomes faster and louder you may have a bad rod bearing. If this is the case and you haven't ran your engine too much it is possible to put a new set of bearings in it and you'll be ready to go. But it is possible that you have spun a bearing and the crank would be ruined. Hope that's not where your knock is. Hope this helps, Jeff Horton

Where is the knock sensor located on a 2000 ford taurus with a 3.0 liter 6 cyl pushrod engine?

I could not find a knock sensor on the 3.0L 6 cyl engine in my online resource. There were lots of other sensors, though.

If it had one like a GM, then it would be located on the cylinder head or block somewhere.

Does this help?

What is a rod knock in a car toyota camry 2001

A "rod knock" is the sound made by a bent pushrod. This is a MAJOR problem and will lead to a blown engine if not repaired soon. Take it to a reputable mechanic immediately. Be prepared to pay a substantian amount of money for the repairs. Good Luck.

Light tapping driver side valve cover in rear area 1973 chevy small block corvette engine. when engine rives up the tapping gets a little louder, the tapping is light, not a deep knocking sound.

The valves are out of adjustment or possibly a lifter is collapsed. A service manual or many sites online can provide you with information and a few different methods of adjusting the valves.

I have a loud knocking noise coming from Under my valve cover. How can I preform a valve test to find where the knocking is coming from

It is generally just a noisy lifter. This happens to about every 3.2 liter isuzu I have ever seen and didn't really hurt the performance.
