SOURCE: 2006 scion TC Hard starting

Does it start if you give it gas when turning the key? I had a grand prix that would not want to start unless I gave it gas. It was an easy fix. I changed the air filter, used MAF cleaner to clean the MAF and I also took the throttle body apart and cleaned that. The throttle body had a black build up in it that I cleaned up with throttle body cleaner.

SOURCE: transmission fluid level

It is usually printed on the Transmission dipstick.
Engine warm, engine running, on level ground. Check level on dipstick, shoud be somewhere between add and full. Do not add oil if it is not below the add line.

I have a 2006 scion tc 5 spd doesnt read my speed i change my wheel sensors all 4 tire and stil doesnt read my speed i also change my cluster and still doesnt work any idea what could be also giving m

the dash speed readout is allways feed via the transmission speed sensor , it's usually close to the final drive output from transmission , this not working would also effect car if it had a automatic trans in it as it would not know what speed to shift at, a little less obvious in a 5 speed , wheel sensors usually only feedback to ABS brake system as they tell abs what tires are turning

What kind of automatic transmission fluid do i need to use?

Your Scion TC requires Toyota type T-IV auto trans fluid that is a mineral oil based fluid, do not mix with different types of oils. If your fluid is burnt smelling or very dark in color be advised fresh fluid could be a bad thing as fresh detergents could wash away the last remnants of clutch linings.

I havent changed my transmission oil on my scion tc 06, where is it located at?

That's not something to do at home, especially if you don't know where to start. It usually involves removing the trans sump pan. Take to a quick oil change place and have it done. Furthermore, a "normal" home style trans fluid change only replaces about a third of the fluid. Professional place with right equipment will change all of it. (Trans fluid rule of thumb.. 80 k mile or so ought to be changed, but check your drivers manual for details.)

I cant find where i check my transmission fluid

do you have an automatic transmission or a 5speed? Sounds like an obvious question, but if you have a 5speed, you don't have transmission fluid. If you do indeed have the automatic, the yellow puller is for the engine oil and the orange one is for the transmisson. Once you pull out the orange dipstick, you will fill with ATF right there using a funnel

How much for a manual trans drain and refill on a scion tc?''

you don't have to drain the oil on a manual transmission. There is no transmission fluid on ANY manual transmission. There is a clutch.

What is the average time it will take to change brakes and brake fluid on a 2006 Scion Tc?

If you are talking about changing the brake pads on the vehicle all the way around it would take approximately 2 hrs. To change the brake fluid about another hour or so.........but not sure as to why you are going to change the brake fluid. If you not sure if the brake fluid is good or not go to your local parts store and get the brake test strip test kit and test your fluid to see if the integrity of it is still ok. Most of the time brake fluid will last a long time without any problems.
