Some thing you should do also is change the fuel filter and check the air filter(if dirty, replace it) You can clean the throttle body also, you have to open up the plates and clean behind it as much as possible(use a tooth brush). I have done this to cars and it's better than the tune up they just got.

2001 ford focus was shut off and would not start so I replaced the timing belt using the bar and pin checked spark ok, fuel to the rail have compression but still not start ??? help

If you replaced a timing belt on a ZETEC engine, and got it right, you have mechanical ability.
My shop manual shows four pages of instructions on replacing that belt.
Assuming you have it timed properly, then it should start.
Did you make sure the fuel pump inertia switch didn't trip on it? Can you hear the fuel pump whirring momentarily when you turn it to ON'?
Keep us posted and I hope you find the problem .don-ohio

Where is the fuel rail sensor on 2005 ford focus

My engine light came off I got those codes because my car was stalling because of the fuel lines not getting fuel and plus put in good gas like the middle one will help regulate the bad gas...i have ford focus 2005 zx3 and got the fuel sensor regulator out of junkyard and now it's fine no engine must disconnect battery so while changing it will reset...then go to the top of your engine look for the fuel sensor regulator right in the middle unplug remove two screws pull up but put something underneath so the fuel won't go underneath replace then connect battery and done..

Check engine light keeps saying check emissions sensor. the auto parts tester gave the p0193 fuel rail pressure sensor to check.

Check it

Codes Said what it is--sensor on
fuel rail, on engine

Don't understand or know how to test it,
you need a repair shop.

Ford focus 1.6 zitec petrol, engine warning light flashing, engine chugging, very high fuel consumption, fumes smell when stationary, exhaust seems ok, recently change speed sensor and coil pack?

try the air filter first and the intake.the spark plugs then and after all go to a garage for checking compression timing and the head gasket.
