Question about 2001 BMW 325
How do I reset the service reminder mileage to 15,000 miles after changing the oil and filter? Also, if it takes some kind of device where do I get one and where does it plug into the car?
HI NO NEED FOR HI TECH GIZMOS HERE ARE YOU SITTING COMFORTABLE....IGNITION IN OFF POSITION, PRESS AND HOLD MILEAGE RESET BUTTON ,TURNING THE KEY ONE CLICK STILL HOLDING IN THE BUTTON.HOLD FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS TILL YOU SEE OIL SERVICE OR INSPECTION WITH RESET OR RE IN THE DISPLAY,PRESS THE BUTTON AGAIN ROUGHLY 5 SECONDS UNTIL RESET OR RE FLASHES,WHILE THE DISPLAY IS FLASHING PRESS BUTTON AGAIN VERY BRIEFLY TO RESET THE SERVICE INTERVAL.AFTER THE DISPLAY HAS SHOWN THE NEW INTERVAL YOU SHOULD SEE (END SIA)FOR ABOUT 2 SECONDS AND THERE YOU GO JOB DONE IT WORKS ON MINE EVERY TIME I HOPE THIS HELPS,,,,,,,,,, WELL OFF YOU GO YOUVE GOT MONEY TO SAVE ;-)
