Question about 1998 BMW 3 Series
Recently took mine apart using this guide below, and fixed it.
PROBABLY your plastic clips have shattered, and the trunion is now running in the metal groove, hence causing it to stick.
or it could be the switch in the dooor....
Take it apart and have a look!
