Hello,,If you have an after market car starter/keyless entry,the car wont start with the hood up also when unhooking/hooking bateries back up with the hood open throws the remote into a lockdown mode,with every thing hooked up and ready for the road,,close hood and lock up your suv and let sit for about ten to fifteen min then unlock and it should start. i sat at a hospital for two hours boosting my truck, it would spin over quite fast but wouldnt start and thats what i did and it fired rite up,,good luck..
If you take off your radiator cap (COLD ENGINE) and look inside with a flashlight count the number of rows, or tubes. Most are 2 rows. Generally, changing from a 1 to a 2 row, or visa verse will not have an impact on your vehicle, but with a large SUV I would say stay with a 2 row or higher.
I did all that...turns out it was the pcm fuse and the fuel pump. Since I have been making inquiries, I have heard GMC trucks/suvs have fuel pump problems...
