Question about 2000 Pontiac Sunfire
Hope you can help, have this Sunfire 2000 with 73000 miles. In the past weeks it just dies out. No warning, just goes out. Only lights to come on are the oil and battery. Now I did have a new fuel filter put on and will be checking to see if I need a ignition modular (sp). after getting the new fuel filter the car still stalls out. No problem restarting. I am the only owner. Even with low miles the car is on the interstate several times a week. As stated this problem just popped up from no were. Now my CD player went out also, but there would be no connection there huh. The lights for the radio and CD player comes on bright sometimes and other times it looks burned out.
Thanks for any help.
You might want to test your alternator and check your power connections to make sure they are tight and don't have corrosion.
