There is an electric motor that turns heater core on and off. It's located under the dash to the left of the glove box. Some dis-assembly required. The part will cost about $120 to $180. part number is #MR958603. I saved money by purchasing it on line. It is a stocking part at most Mitsubishi dealers. Once you pull the glove box out and remove the bottom half of the dash all the way across, you should be able to gain access to the motor to replace it. Caution: if you do not put everything back in correctly and tie/tape it all back down carefully in the correct places you will have lots of under the dash noises when you are done.

Blower heather

check the fuse, or it could be your blower motor switch or the blower motor resistor. If its blowing air, but its not cold, then the heater hoses where they connect to your engine are clogged. inspect the heater hoses, and your water pump outlets for cloggs and corrosion blocking the flow of coolent.

The heater and air conditioner will not blow out any air

if the air started to work only on a few settings then the problem is your blower motor resistor if it just stopped all of a sudden then the blower motor is bad but the first thing i would check is the fuse. always check fuses first if you find a bad fuse for it and it pops rite after you put it in and turn the heater on then replace the blower motor

Fan works ok blows cool air thermastat is ok

This could be that the actuator that opens the door in the heater is dead.. or the actual heater-core is bad. Which is costly and expensive.

The heater blows cold air

if your blower fan is working and it blows would mean you will need to have your thermostat replaced.

The blower fan stopped working this morning. No

You can take a look at your fuses and see if your fuse is burnt out or if that not the case and the fuses are fine then it sound like blower motor is shot.
