SOURCE: Lincoln 2000 town car Blower doesn't work at HI-MED-LOW speeds...

it is called blower motor resistor , should be close to blower motor , you will see a plug type connector with two screws , remove the screws and there should be a resistor inside the cover for the motor, swap with new and reassemble

2002 grand caravan blower motor intermittent replaced resistor

in review
the fan speed resistor is new
you bench tested the blower motor
12 volts test ..only runs it at full speed
if cabin filer want changed the blower motor would run hotter

could be the motor brushes or bush/motor bearing when slowed
you might want to inspect the brushes and clean the dust out of the motor
if no better
does that have climate control ?
might be the fan switch itself or the earth isnt so good

Front blower motor works sporadically rear works fine

Might just be a bad blower motor. It takes it a while to spin fully after its on due to bad bushings in the motor. Take it out and see if it spins freely or not. Of not, replace it and all will be fine.

A/c issue

sounds like the blend door is the reason for no cool air in the front as for the blower if you mean in does not work at all on 1,2,3 that is a blower control resistor. the resistor is easy cheap fix , the blend door well ..... not so cheap very labor intensive .

2004 Chrysler Pacifica Blower won't work

Usally when a blower motor resistor goes bad the fan still runs on high. The resistor lowers the voltage going to the fan to make it run slower. The high setting usually goes straight thru. Resistors are usually easy to get to, under good on the firewall or under dash passenger side. Cost about $24 at parts store. Replace with new if that doesn't work return it.

I have a 2004 Mazda MPV and only get air blowing at 1 speed. How do I determine if it is the blower or resistor that needs replacement?

if the blower blows at all, the blower is working. so the resistor is bad. BUT if it has high miles you want to test the blower and see how many amps its drawing, high amps will kill a resistor.

My 2000 Mazda MPV heater fan works for 4 not for 1

You need to replace the blower motor resistor,it's in the heater box.Number 4 bypasses the resistor and all the other speeds go through it so it's the most likely problem.

YOur problem is most likely a plugged cabin air filter, any oil chane place can replace the filter for $25.00 or less.
