Question about 2009 Lincoln MKS

Open Question

The intermittent (delay) wiper function isn't working on my 2009 Lincoln MKS. I couldn't find a fuse that corresponded with that function. I do not have the auto wiper (rain sensitive) function. It is still under warranty, is there an easy fix, or should it schedule an appointment with the Dealer?

One of the tail light bulbs can be shorted internally.  Replace the tail light bulbs first.  Try this cheap fix first.

I would suggest replacing the wiper control module. I would consider finding a used one from an auto wrecker. Hope this helps.

Sounds like the slip ring in the wiper motor has a strip missing from it,if so you need a new wiper motor, parts for wiper motors are next to impossible to find.

The most common cause of clicking (under the hood) while driving is an undercharged AC system. The sound is the compressor constantly turning on and shutting off. The problem could also be related to the temperature control panel which could constantly call for the compressor to turn on and off.
