When to change cam belt on 407 hdi 1600 cc ?

It should be changed every 50000 mile's. When changing the cam belt on these engines be sure to fit a new water pump and pulley's. The water pump most of all. It is driven with the cam belt and they can and do fail. Can lead to complete engine rebuild.

Audi a4 v6 changed timing belt now can't start no power

The timing must be off. There is a crank lock that must be installed when changing the belt and also a holding "jig" that holds the cams in place while you are changing the belts. Also the cam pulleys must be separated and free from the cam shafts when installing the belt and tensioning in order for the engine to be timed correctly.

WHEN DOES THE CAM BELT HAVE TO BE CHANGED

Cam belt is also know as timing belt.
The manufacture recommended change interval is 95,000 miles.

Today T-Belt is also drive the water pump.
I strongly recommend you to change the water pump,T-belt,tensioner,and plastic guide at the same time.
Check for any sign of freeze plug leak on the block while you servicing the belt.

Change cam belt on 1995 legacy

If your going to do or get this done you need to replace the camshaft seals crankshaft seal and water pump plus the idlers and tensioner.
If its a quad cam you might just want to leave it to the pro's........

1998 Ford Escort Timing Belt Disapearing?

Sounds like the metal collar that fits between the cam gear & the belt was left out.Good luck,
ChevRev P.S. This should be a round metal collar with a curve towards the cam gear to keep the belt from riding towards the cam gear .Without it the belt will slowly shred as it makes contact with the cam gear.Hope this helps you.
