Good place to start would be to check fluid level and top it up as necessary, if light coming on when turning corners.

Power steering and brakes stopped working in my 2003 GMC sierra 2500 HD..replaced water pump and belt..still not working..

You probably have hydroboost brakes and that system is powered by the power steering unit. If you have no steering and brakes, the first thing to check is the power steering pump. Check for low/no fluid. If the fluid is okay then the pump might not be pumping and you will need to replace it.

pull the caliper mounting bolts, hang it from a clothes hanger, compress the piston to make room for the new pads, put every thing back like it was, check brake fluid. (open bleader on caliper when compressing piston.)

2001 gmc sierra 1500. The front brakes drag. I have replaced pads, calipers and hoses. Resevoir is full and gasket on cap is new. Can the brakes be adjusted?

No, there is no adjustment aside from being certain calipers are not binding. Be sure the M/C is fully releasing.

Cant get brakes to bleed properly

Here's all the tricks for bleeding brakes that I've got:
1. keep the master cylinder FULL.. check it often. if you **** air into the lines, you're going to need to start all over... so keep it full.
2. Have a assistant pump the brake pedal and hold pressure- when you open the bleeder screws at the wheels, the pedal will drop. Make sure the assistant doesn't let off the pedal until you get that bleeder shut again. Then he can repressurize again (keep an eye on your fluid level).
3. Start at the farthest wheel. then work to the closest to the master cylinder.
4. Then refill the fluid as needed.
5. You may need to "center" the brake lite (dash indicator) you can do this by having the assistant hold pressure while you bleed the line at the master cylinder (quick and abrupt) you may have to do the front or the rear line (on the master cylinder).
Good luck...hope this aolves your issue..

Rear Brakes on a 2002 GMC 2500HD.??

You will need a large allen socket or torqes (sp?) socket to loosen the caliper bolts; you can get at auto parts places. Other than that you will likely need a medium to large deep throat C clamp to force the fluid back to the resevoir by squeezing the calipers back in the body. Do this slowly as there may be check valves to over come with the fluid return. I am not aware of other special stuff.
