SOURCE: replace cv boot on a renault kangoo

Did one today, assuming drive shaft removed take off large clip from inner boot slide back joint socket comes away leaving the knuckle joint on the shaft remove 19mm circlip and tap knuckle off spline this allows outer boot to come back - easy enough. Not much tubber to secure new clip over boot though especially with all the grease.

Hi, i got kangoo 1.4 panelvan, need to locate the petrol filter and other petrol regulators

we have none up here , north of equator.
we do not do down under; im told
love the overfloating word, I too am old fossil with vast CARB experiences and work and know that that means.

float valve stuck = engine fuel flooding in pure tech words
A CARB but there are no carbs here in USA now, for sure zero allowed 2008 (epa banned them 1988)

car was made by Renault
made in France? and you speak english ?
the correct word is over injecting.
not floating if true.
wiki says this is your real engine name????????
1.4 L E7J (Energy series) I4
but wiki says no such engine 2008 so did you tell the wrong engine displacement????l
sold everywhere but here (usa) it seems. par too.
why not post the cars VIN and country.??????

learn that cars are not the same all over the earth, sure a fast look at body but is not the same at all, (by laws)

Renault kangoo 1.9 deisel smoking bad diesel knocking/ pinking runs better in mornings when colder its starting ok

classic symptoms of petrol in diesel ,but with these engines their is no keyway on the timing belt sprockets and its not unusual for the sprocket to move if a new timing belt has been fitted ,Now their is a special tool for alignment of the crank to tdc ,on the front of the engine level with the crank right hand side about 2 inches from the bell housing is a bolt ,this comes out and a special tool is inserted to locate TDC its like a long pin ,then crank is locked into this position with another special tool that locks the starter ring gear .and the cams are locked with another special tool .also its a common rail and to locate a injection fault then this vehicle uses encrypted software that can only be read by the dealer over an internet connection with renault thats well secure as it calls back the dealer to confirm caller ID then the operator has to put his finger print into the computer to open the connection.Check the fuel first and see if it smells of petrol ??

Kangoo 1.4 petrol automatic.

Hi there,
I don't have prices for you but according to my experience i'ts not a too complicated job to do. You'll probably look at about 3/4 to 1 hr labour for this. To get a price on the cable, ring the nearest Renault dealer parts and ask them how much is the cable and by the way how much will be for the fitment as well.
Hope this helps and let me know how you get on.
Cheers,
Technopro
