Put in car radio codes in your search engine and about 10 will pop out at you, it's about 20 bucks and you give the VIN to your car and within 24 hrs they e-mail you your code for that radio, for me the price being the same as a CD was well worth the money, and the dealerships (most) still charge you and will not give you the info over the phone.

I cant unlock my car stereo and i forgot my personal code

You need to pull the stereo out to get the stereo serial# and then go to the dealership with your driver license along with your car registration. You need to go to service station and they'll get the stereo code# to you. Some dealership they might keep the stereo code in their data bank, so just show them your car registration where they can get your VIN# and they'll get the code# for you.

Your stereo is on most likely on anti-theft, if its the stock stereo check the owners manual booklet, otherwise you'll have to ask the dealership

Im putting n a stereo but i dont no the color code

The stereo side of the wires should be labeled. Check out the12volt.com for a wiring schematic for the truck side. I advise against cutting and splicing wires for a stereo installation though. They make inexpensive harness adapters that will allow you to splice into the stereo harness without cutting into the factory wiring.

I replaced the battery and now the radio is locked and I dont know how to unlock it

you will have to have the stereo removed by a dealer and show them proof of ownership of vehicle and pay them to get the codes and enter them the good thing is they will give you the code for your records so you dont have to do it again

1998 audi a4 car stereo

That's weird that they won't help you out. Usually if the stereo is in the car and you show proof of ownership of the vehicle, they'll give you the code for a fee. I'd call another Audi dealer (or a VW dealer - same corporation so they should be able to help) and see if they'll do it for you. Typically they look up the code based on the VIN of the vehicle, but obviously since your stereo was replaced they can't do it that way. Hopefully another dealer will be more understanding of the situation and will help you out. That's the only way to get it though.
