The two red wires are power into the switch from the ignition 4 and 4 fuses in the under hood fuse box.

The yellow wire should be hot in the start position. It goes to either the neutral safety switch or the clutch position switch depending on if you have a auto or manual trans.

Orange provides power to the ignition 3 and cruise fuse in the instrument panel fuse box as well as the HVAC module. It is hot in run.

Pink provides power to the ignition 1, airbag, and turn fuse in the instrument panel fuse box . It also provides power to the B/U lamp, EGR, PCMI, EIS, and injector fuse in the under hood fuse box. It is hot in run and start.

Brown provides power to the radio and wiper fuse in the instrument panel fuse block. It is hot in accessory and run.

If it cranks and doesn't start pull the instrument panel fuse box bulk connectors. Check to make sure they are not burnt. Pin F5 is the one that burns up. When it goes it will wipe out interior lights, door locks, fuel pump, and power windows.

first sentence should be ignition 3 and 4 fuses in the under hood fuse box.

11. Trans axle Codes present

Saturn Sc1, Sc2, SL1, SL2 Automatic Transmission codes when turning right after a reset or when hitting third gear. Intermittant dash lights dead, fuel pump failure and check engine light says various codes having to do with car starting in gear. Mine had a bad ignition switch which burned up the wires connected to the automatic transmission start satety switch. On the back of the transmission a black plastic device connected to the shifter cable. You must remove the black plastic shield from the upper wire to see if the wires inside are burned on the top connector that has six wires. If they are get a junkyard replacement connector and wires. Replace the ignition switch first to avoid same problem.

96 saturn no power to windows blower motor ac rear defrost traction control stoped working all at once

There is an orange wire that runs from the ignition to the fuse panel. It can be accessed from the driver's side. This orange wire plugs into the back panel of the fuse box. It has a pin which comes loose. If you take the wiring harness that is above the gas pedal where your foot normally is and move it a little; it should start working momentarily. If it starts back up by jiggling it around, that definitely is your problem. Just take a screw driver small enough to get in there and push that pin back into place. That should do the trick. The only other thing that will do this is a bad ignition switch where you put your key into.

'99 Saturn SC1 with intermittant check engine light P0341

a p0341 code mean cam reference performance, really it means you have a secondary ignition problem,,,,like a bad ignition module
a bad crank sensor
a high resistance spark plugs,do not use bosch platinum plugs in these cars
high resistance spark plug wires,,,i work at the dealer and the first thing we do is replace the spark plugs and wires if that dont work we replace the crank sensor,if thatdont work we reaplce the ignition mondule, and by then your fixed and you started with the cheapest items first,,,i would try plugs and wires and a crank sensor,,,,wires $50 plugs $14 crank sensor $37

The ects in located on the drivers side up towards the top and into the side of the block has a small 2 wire plug, make sure when you buy this that you tell them sensor and not switch as they look the same,do this with the engine cool, remove the coolant tank cap to relieve pressure and coolant loss will be very small.
