1994 Mazda PU Truck sometimes won't start if shutoff for 5-10 minutes.. Several tries later, it will start. spark seems ok, it gets enough fuel for a second, but then poops out. fuel pump shuto

Well there is no shutoff relay, but there is a fuel pump relay that powers the pump.
I would check it first. The computer grounds the relay for 3 seconds when you crank the engine to boost fuel pressure. Once the engine starts the pump is powered only if you have oil pressure.

Fuel pump not working. Just replaced fuel pump relay, all fuses are ok. Both fuel pumps are relatively new.

Check power at the fuel pump , when you put key on ,it should be there for about two seconds (if you are not starting the car) to build up the pressure.
When you cranking engine , power should be constant.
If power not there , go to the relay , check power supply to the relay. If power supply to the relay ok , check signal from ignition switch , if that ok relay is faulty.

The ignition seems to want to start but no gas is getting to the injectors, If I give it starter fluid it wants to start.

I would check to see if you are getting any gas to the test port on the fuel rail. Sounds like the fuel pump fuse and/or relay, or the pump itself is bad. You can check the fuel pump connector under the car for power when the key is turned on. If there is power, the fuse and relay are ok. Check the fuel filter also. Check for power to the injectors.

No power to the fuel pump (used electrical circuit tester down at the pump) fuse blocks under hood seem ok 40 engine quit suddenly. spark ok.

Check the fuel pump relay which is under the hood behind the battery. You'll see 2 turn clips to remove the cover. It should be the 2nd relay as your looking at the car.

My new fuel pump is not getting any power to it. The relay is working fine. after some test, it seem to lose power at the bulkhead. I cannot remove the bulkhead. I have tried, but can't do it. Wondering if...

To be sure the fuel pump is ok, connect it directly to the batery.
If you know the pump is ok, maybe the relay is faulty. A relay is actually a electromagnet which close a circuit which have a big consumer. If the relay is clicking didn't mean is working properly. Inside it it has a contact, and if that contact is burned or dirty, your pump wont get any power. The clik soud is made by the electromagnet which close the contact.
If you could open the relay, you could take a look inside and clean the contact point with a soft cloth and maybe some solvent. Be gently with it.
By the way...maybe you have a separate fuse for the pump, even is controlled by a relay.
Good luck.

the fuel pump is triggered by the engines oil pressure switch upon starting
when oil pressure reaches normal psi the relay takes over powering the fuel pump
you see know that your relay is not operating now for the pump

Fuel pump NOT working ,fuel pump is OK,but no voltage

Check the voltage with someone cranking the engine. The fuel pump relay is incorperated in the FI relay located under right center of dash. It is a metal relay usually bolted to the floor near the ecm. Double check all the fuses inside and out
