the oil pan must be removed, to do this you must disconnect the engine mounts and raise the engine off the mounts as far as poss, then u can unbolt and remove the oil pan, the oil pump is then assessable inside the engine
remove radiatitor all wireing haness and unbolt moter mounts unbolt trans (if automatic unbolt converter) unhook exhaust,remove power steering pump altinater a leave on the fender wells,
The recommended way is to unhook and unbolt every thing and support engine and transaxle in a cradle, then raise vehicle up until you can remove the engine/trans from underneath.
