It is stuck to the trans still? Did you remove the bell housing bolt on the back that goes thru the other way? 6 bolt in all.

the oil pan must be removed, to do this you must disconnect the engine mounts and raise the engine off the mounts as far as poss, then u can unbolt and remove the oil pan, the oil pump is then assessable inside the engine

Put a jack under the engine with a wood block on it and unbolt the bracket from the engine to the motor mount. Then jack up the motor.
