- I have a 1998 BMW 750. The check engine light stays on, and it jerks very little at times. Any solutions?- mikevivSolution #1

sounds like one of the oil breather pipes is bloked wich will cause oil to feed to the cylinder wich will cause smoke and uneavan running wich will cause the car to **** when standing. take off all breathing pipes main ones come from the rocker covers clean them and put them back. the main engine breather will come out of the engine block do the same.
