HAD A REAR END COLLISON AND I NEED TO KNOW WHERE MY FUEL SHUTOFF SWITCH IS LOCATED. 2001 CHEVY ASTRO

Normally the manual button, if equipped in the vehicle, is located near or in the Glove Compartment or lower dash area on the drivers side. If your trying to turn it back on because it tripped you most likely need to reset the ECM, assuming something hasn't shorted the fuel pump in which case the fuse in the interior fuse box has blown or the relay or fuse in the power distribution center located drivers side under the hood area has blown. On occasion they locate a reset button on the interior of the van, drivers side, in the rear area behind a panel but this was not a common installation of the switch and i think they only used it 1 year. As an alternate reset you can usually remove the negative battery cable for 5 minutes then reconnect it. This will normally work when all else fails.
