Question about 2005 Toyota Tacoma
This is a very common problem with the 05-09 Tacoma. The console is very prone to internal failure. I offer a reasonable repair service with a lifetime guarantee, check it out: www.autoclockrepair.com
There is a bunch of useful info there. Drop me an email if you have questions, thanks!

These are repairable, fortunately. Our company repairs them in a manner
that precludes the problem from occurring again. If you re-solder the
surface mount resistors, the unit will generally quickly fail again due
to oxidation on the old components. We install all new components, and
guarantee out work!
