Question about 2004 Mazda 6
I don't know if this fixes your problem or not but mine is doing the same thing. they said to have both keys. take the first one and turn the car on but don't start it. leave it on for ten seconds and then take out and insert the second key. and do same thing. take second key back out and insert first key ten seconds after removing the second key and then try starting the car.
