Checked all hoses (replaced one) and still had the same problem. No codes @ first, THEN after fuel filter change, full tune-up, oil change, etc. Got codes 13 and 33. No Mass Air Flow Sensor on 91 Blazer's, so check the MAP Sensor (Autozone can test for free) or as in my case... O2 Sensor.

Had the same problem. Check the TPS(throttle position sensor).

Hi Riggsby!

I assume you have the 4.3 V6 with throttle body injection... If not, let me know.

I would take a look at the Idle Air Control valve (IAC) first. Also make certain all vacuum lines are connected and not leaking.

If this does not help, take it to AutoZone (or other automotive supply that offers free scans) and have them run an OBD scan, looking for any trouble codes (they will decipher trouble odes for you).

Is idling the only problem, does it run okay otherwise, or are there other less troubling problems with engine performance?

Hope this sheds a little light on the subject, good luck, and let us know if you have further questions or comments...

Thanks!
WildBill

Hello! when you say you checked the MAP sensor what do you mean? Did you take voltage readings at idle ? A vacuum leak is the likely culprit, especially to the MAP...The minor shake at idle being the major clue...Send a comment...guru..saailer

Fuel Issue?

I would change the filter and replace it with a high performance one. You can google the make and model for an online manual.

ok so you did a full tune up. ok well, the throttle positions sensor (tps) may not be good. or the gas needs some cleaning use some tune up in a bottle trust me it works great.
