SOURCE: 1997 dodge dakota v6 engine wont start replaced

turn the key to the on position a see if you can here a buzzing sound around the fuel tank,if you don't hear a sound then. (be very careful while doing this) with the key off take a fuel line coming from the tank loose, make sure its pointed away from you and turn the key to the on position, see if any gas comes out,if not then your fuel pump is probably bad.

SOURCE: 944 turbo throttle dropout problem

i gave my 944 turbo which had a idle problem. checked all the vacuum
attatchments, made sure all were connected. Checked coolant level.
Then cleaned the fuel pressure (part). ie the fuel rail attatchment, with carburettor cleaner then sprayed dry lube into it. Its running like a dream again. This part i am talking about has 3 inlets and is at the front of the fuel rail, when you take it out fuel runs out of it for a little while.
Hope this fixes the problem.

I have a 1991 dodge stealthr/t twin turbo it backfires through the intake and exhaust a mechanic at the dealer said it is running lean and doesn't have a good reading on the down steam o2 sensor I

Here is what you need to try. When a car gets a lean signal from an O2 sensor it means there is more air than it should have. The general perception is that there is too little gas.

This means you have a leak in the intake gasket or one of the vacuum lines or vacuum solenoids. You can try spraying a water mist from a handheld spray bottle on the running egine. If the engine stalls or Rpm drops, you have found the leak.

Now I see that this is a Dual Turbo. Sometimes there is valving or "Gates" inside the turbo that regulate airflow. If the gate sticks, or carbons up, it will not shut down the Turbo and you will get too much airflow past the O2 sensor.

Having a backfire through the intake and exhaust indicates something is sticking and an engine valve is carbonned up and failing to close. You need to systematically test the items I have mentioned. The more difficult test would be a compression test to see if the valves are sealing.

Timing belt alighnment marks for a 1992 stealth rt twin turbo

There are two, whichever is on the head is what determines the mark on the pulley. I think one is a box, and you have 2 lines to line up with and the other is a triangle? and you have one mark to line up with. Hope this helps.
