Question about 1998 Buick Park Avenue
Shorts in the system are hard to locate, especially when they run into other areas not related to each other. you most likely have a burnt wire that has melted into others. This takes alot of time to find in most cases. Some times you luck out. some times you have too tear down the whole dash to access the wiring, then cut all the tape and conduit off to find the problem. this could cost $1000.00 and more to fix. . If you want to do it yourself the cost is very little. Most of the cost is labor. But if your up to it I will help you.
