It should click on about 180 degrees to 200.anything over that you should watch. Car;s can run up higher due to the thermostat, or the temperature sender switch. Their's a secondary fan for the A/C which if you see the temperature raising into the red zone, you could put on the A/C and the fan will click on for the A/C.
