Pull upward on black cover above headlamp assy (marked pull here for headlamp service) you will then see on the front side a large bolt above the lamp assembly that holds it to the front of the car.

It is a 10MM socket you will then need to remove a similar bolt on the top and bottom on the center front of the car where the assembly bolts up to the sheet metal. On the corner near the cornering lamp is a star shaped head bolt. (looks like star of david) you will need another small metric socket to remove this. this will free up the cornering lamp from the headlamp assembly.

Gently pull forward and away from headlamp assembly. remove both light pig tails by gently twisting on pigtails; you will then see 2 nuts which are also 10mm remove these and gently pull forward on entire headlamp assembly. you will need needle nose pliers to compress the head of plastic retaining tabs on headlight and signal light pig tails where they are held into the headlamp assembly, then, gently twist hi-low beam sockets free of the headlamp assembly then do like wise with the signal lamps. to install reverse procedure as above. note: the side with the cornering lamp has a tab that must fit back into tab-hole in front sheet metal of the front fender.

How do i change the headlight bulb on my 05 uplander

On my 2003 trailblazer (as far as I know they are the same), See note below for passenger side. Remove the dust cover on the back of the head light assembly (black round rubber cover about 3" in diameter, just pull it off), disconnect the plug on the bulb, turn the bulb a 1/8 turn and pull it out. Then reverse the process for assembly. ***NOTE***If you are trying to replace one of the bulbs on the passenger side, remove the air filter housing cover and displace the filter for access to the dust covers on the back of the head light. 2 screws hold the air filter housing cover on, one directly behind it and one on the side (drivers side of air filter housing).

Can't get passenger side marker light out on a 2007 kia spectra

There is one bolt on top of the radiator support and another in back. The assy fits into a pluug that keeps it aligned so it cam be tough to remove. Just wiggle it side to side while pulling and it'll slowly come out.

Are you looking to fix the bulb that is in the corner of the headlamp? You don't need to remove the head light for that. The is a black cap that screws off just beind it.

How do I replace a passenger side corner assembly headlight

If you're referring to the corner parking light, which get dinged very frequently, here's how you do it.

Open the hood. Near the corner there is a wide head philips head screw holding down the corner light bracket. Remove the screw. The light should now be loose. Slide it forward to remove. The bulb socket will be attached to the light. Twist it to detach.

59Shadow.
Thank you for sharing the information on the light bulb. You just saved me money from having to take my 2003 Trailblazer in to have the low beam bulb replaced. I did exactly what you said.
1 Open hood and lock.
2. Take filter cover off (4 screws and they stay with the filter).
3. 3 inch cover pulls off.
4. Twist light bulb 1/8 turn.
5. Unclip the wiring harness to light bulb assembly.
6. Test by turning light switch on.
7. Align assembly with light housing and turn 1/8 until it snaps in.
8. Put 3 inch cover back on.
9. Place filter cover back on and hand tight the 4 screws.
10. Close hood.
