Question about 2006 Chevrolet Colorado

I have a 2006 chevy colorado, when i step on the break the right blinker lights up when the blinker is on and i step on the break the right blinker blinks faster, the left blinker works but sometimes you can't here the blinker sound, the heater and ac control sometimes only works on high

First repair the ground to the right rear light, as for the heater it may be a switch or a bad contact

Look for a grounding issue. Sounds like power is feeding back through the TS circuit.

If you have no testers, another way is to pull one bulb at a time, and test again.

Also, you should find that some bulb somewhere is not working correctly, under the brake light sceneario.

I have a 2005 Chevy Colorado. The right rear passenger tail light will not come on, I have changed bulbs, and I have changed the entire lense assembly.Everytime you put your foot on the brake the right...


I have this exact same issue with my 05 Colorado and its so annyoying (not to mention unsafe)... I thought it was just the blub- becuase in my case my signal is no loger blinking. My break light still works, as does my parking light...

Any thoughts as to why this is happening?
