You should get at least 18 mpg city. depending on your driving habits, heavy foot, less mileage. you can improve it some by adding lucas fuel treatment to your gas in the tank, it will clean dirty fuel injectors and fuel lines. adding to your mileage. you can also improve it by changing what type fuel you buy and what octane it is. 93 octane fuel is best, depending on your budget, 89 octane is ok but 87 octane fuel burns faster with less power to your motor.you get better milage and power with the 93 octane fuel! you can boost that octane buy purchasing an octane booster from auto zone or a parts store.the better the fuel, the more miles and prformance your motor will give you, just don't over do it, if you buy 87 or 89 octane fuel. you can adda booster to it.hope this helps!!

The window sticker should have read 14-20 but after running a good synthic oil and having the air in the tires at the max you could see about 22 on the highway.

Thanks

What are you getting? The only thing you can do is drive easier, coast, dont accel hard ect. If you wanted good mileage, you bought the wrong car.

I have just purchased Figo Trend and it is providing the average mileage 14.5 kmpl, so there are any chances to get improve after first service.

Hello,
You haven't specified whether it is the petrol or diesel car. According to ARAI mileage, the Ford Figo have a 18.6 kmpl mileage of petrol engine and 25.83 kmpl for diesel, but in reality the mileage is different which is between 15-20 kmpl. If you are driving the diesel car that there are chances to improve after first service.
There are a few measures you should also keep in mind like don't over use clutch, stop reckless driving, inappropriate gear transmission.

How to improve 2011 hundai mileage

Driving habits are the main reason for bad mileage including: excessive idling, fast starts and stops, fast driving in general...best speeds are 50 to 60 MPH for economy, city driving uses most gas,
Mechanical problems include underinflated tires, leaving windows open at highway speeds, not keeping engine tuned up, not changing lubricants at proper intervals, not greasing wheel bearings, not aligning and balancing tires..etc

Getting bad mileage on my 2002 Monte Carlo LS 3400 SFI 3.4 liter V6 and it is suppose to get 31/22 MPG can you tell me why this may be occurring?

www.fueleconomy.gov list the mileage for your vehicle at 29/19. I don't know what kind of mileage you have been getting, so I have nothing ot compare it to. You could be due for a tuneup, air filter and oil change. Scan the computer for trouble codes that may be stored in the computer and clear the codes. Keep your tires aired up to the max recommend pressure on the tire sidewall. All these things will improve fuel mileage. Great performance and mileage increase. Cold weather can affect fuel mileage as the engine runs richer until it warms up. The gas at the service stations has a lot to do with fuel mileage. Especially when they switch over from summer to winter formula. I got a boost in mileage and performance with a set of E3 spark plugs.

What causes my nissan maxima to get low gas mileage? I was told the sensor bank one and had ti replaced no change in mileage.my gage jumps from 12 -27 miles a gallon. It drinks gas!

Driving habits...incorrect tire pressure...excessive weight in car...low oil/old oil. Many things affect mileage. My 2002 max needed a new O2 sensor. Once replaced the mileage improved slightly.

My gas mileage is horrible. I fill up once a week now just running around town compared to when I use to go almost 2 weeks. Can it be a dirty filter or something?

2002 dia rio getting 17mpg on e10 (ethanol) fuel. what can i do to improve gas mileage?

Ethanol less energy than gasoline. So your fuel mileage will be less. Also if your engine wasn't engineered to run on you could damage the engine.

Is there a way to improve fueleconomy on 4.7 L 4X4 Durango's

swap in a tcm for 2002 to 2004 jeep grand cherokee with a 4.7 and 545rfe transmission. you have a 45 rfe transmission and it is identical on the inside to a 545rfe. type in 45rfe to 545 rfe conversion on google and follow the dodge threads that come up for more details.
