NO. there is a button on the shifter that controls the overdrive. the E-AT power switch is give you more power by shifting at higher rpms. good for pulling steep hills, ect. but when you do use it keep an eye on your tach so you dont redline it

Why does the power window button blink on and off and the automatic feature doesn't work in the 2008 Toyota Sienna?

NOTE:
Anytime the batteryterminal has been disconnected, please initialize the driver's door power windowand front passenger's door power windowafter reconnecting the batteryterminal.

With ignition switchin the "ON" position, do the following:

1. Push down and hold the driver's door power windowswitch to completely open the window.
2. Pull and hold up the driver's door power windowswitch until the window closes.

Continue holding the switch for approximately one second until the switch changes from blinking to a constant illumination.
3. Check for proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch briefly to the "DOWN" and "UP" positions.

At this time the power window switchfor the passenger's door windowshould be blinking.
4. Push down and hold the passenger's door power windowswitch to completely open the window.
5. Pull and hold up the passenger's door power windowswitch until the window closes.
Continue holding the switch for approximately one second until the switch changes
from blinking to a constant illumination.

I have a 2011 camry. My rear right power window does not work from driver main switch. please help.

Most often when the car battery is removed for any purpose, most of the components are required to be re-learned again.Probably it needs to be re-learned as follows:Please sit on the rear right seat, press the window button to lower it. When it come down hold the button for not more than 3 seconds. Release the button. Then pull the button to bring the window up and hold it again for 3 seconds after it touches the upper rest, and then release it.
Now check the window operation by operating it from driver side button.
It is supposed to work fine. If not then check the driver side toggle switch, wire harness for looseness or discontinuity.

HOLD light on dash is blinking

Flashing probably means you need to have it diagnosed or serviced. If it's on steady read this:

There's a switch just in front of the shift lever (it's an automatic transmission but with an "on the floor" lever). It's a toggle switch. On the left side is the letter P and on the right is the letter H. Pressing the P side down, the letters PWR appear on the left side of the dashboard instrument panel. Pressing the H side donw, the letters HOLD appear on the right side of the instrument panel. Evidently, those are important enough options to include in the design of the vehicle. If I can track down an owner's manual, I'll update you with the purpose of those options.

Brake lights don't work on 95 crown victoria

Battery power is applied through 15A fuse 1 in the I/P fuse panel. It passes through the brake on/off switch and is routed through the multi-function switch to the stop lamps. When the brake on/off switch is closed, the stop lamps light. Possible failures include the fuse, the brake on/off switch, the multi-function switch, and the filaments of the multi-purpose rear lights.

Something is pulling power. This is not fun at all.

The basic possible culprits: Alternator on the way out, not getting quite enough power back into the battery to hold over. Batter on the way out, not able to hold a charge anymore. Something draining power overnight.

For troubleshooting, I would suggest doing these things first.

You can do all of these things and then 1 at a time replace them, if the problem is resolved, until the problem shows back up... there's your problem.

Take it to any local parts house and have them check your battery. See if they can check your alternator, too. Assuming everything there is good, continue on.

Check under the hood. There is a light that is under there that has a switch on it (you may not have this, but it's on most GMs around this year ... it's a light with a long cord attached, that most people don't even know is there).

I had a 96 that was doing that, and found that I had left that switch on, so it drained the battery overnight.

If you have stereo equipment installed, for troubleshooting purposes, disconnect power to all of it.

If you have anything plugged into the cig. charger, unplug it/them.

When you shut down the car for the night, do your normal thing, then watch to make sure that all the lights inside the vehicle are actually shutting off.

Remove the trunk light bulb.

Do a sweep of everything in and around the vehicle that could possibly draw power, and figure out how to get rid of it.

From here, like I said, just put one thing at a time back on (overnight), until it shows back up. ... Good times.

Whats the purpose of fuel shut off 94 mazda progete

The emergency fuel shut off switch is present to prevent gas fires in the event of an accident. It is an impact switch and disengages power to the pump after an accident. There has been situations where an accident caused fuel lines to break, the key was still supplying power to the pump, and a car fire resulted. This switch prevents such fires. Thanks and please rate.

The bolts that hold it in place need to be removed with a punch or chisel. The heads break off during installation for security purposes.
