check the grounding earth clean the connection, also check the fuse holder as both theses can cause the fuse to burn out. also with a meter you can check its not leaking power to earth, this would be a damaged wire casing some were, it could be rubbing on the ground of the vehicle. but in most cases its a bad ground to the shell.

Fuel and engine temp gauge fuse keeps blowing, why?

the fuse basically protect the circuit from burning up...wen it blows the circuit is incomplete so it cant burn up...something is causing your circuit to burn up or use more electricity than the wires or circuit can take....in order to fix this problem you will need an electrical diagnostic

The ECM1 fuse blowing usually indicates that the fuel pump wires shorted inside the tank. If you drop the tank and remove the module, you will probably find the insulation burned off the gray pump wire.

1998 plymouth engine fuse burns

first place i would start looking is the wiring to the O2 Sensors for shorts to ground or
in case the O2 Sensor itself is shorted, try disconnecting the sensors to see if the fuse stops blowing.
this is just a place to start, there are other problems that will blow that fuse. good luck.
