Common issue w/cruise - the control switch, secondly, Cruise Control Module under the hood.
before you start replacing components, take your vehicle into an authorized Hyundai dealership (pay the diagnostic fee), and find out exactly where the cause of the problem exits... it might simply be an 'unplugged' harness connector.

Sunroof on 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe only opens/closes whenever it feels like it. It's been less frequently that it cooperates. Checked fuse. It's good (changed it just to make sure) not the motor. Help!

If the 10A ETACS FUSE in the passenger compartment junction block and the 15A SUNROOF FUSE in the engine compartment junction block are OK, the sunroof control module or the sunroof switch could be defective. Another possibility is a wiring defect.

Lower R/L brake lights and cruise control stop working at the same time

Well before you listen to all these people and do all kinds of crazy random replacements I'd suggest the very simple very easy solution of checking the fuse. If the fuse is bad it's a 3 dollar replacement. If that doesn't work I'd replace all the bulbs, more expensive but cheaper than the control switch. If that is bad it's also a fairly easy fix but a little more pricey.

My 2002 Santa Fe brake lights won't shut off and the cruise control does not work either. Hear a clicking sound when brakes are applied.

check the brake switch at the top of the brake pedal and check the fuse for the cruise control give these websites a try and if all fails stop by your local library and get your hands on a Haynes auto repair manual for your Baby SUV wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

Cruise light turns on but set light does not

Sure enough babe! Often the problem is in the CONTROL BUTTONS (those on the steering wheel)... Yet again, I've see the problem point to the Cruise Control Module (Under the hood). Since you mentioned the 'CRUISE' light comes ON, but nothing else is working, I'd hazard a guess the control buttons are malfunctioning. If you press them REAL HARD, do they work? Otherwise, Take the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), pay the diagnostic fee. They will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).

Cruise Control does not work

Sounds like the control switch on the steering wheel has gone bad. Check the connector to the Cruise Control actuator located under the hood & inspect the pins/connections. Any corrosion or signs of over-heating? If not, most probable cause is the control switch on the steering wheel. If not, then take veh to Hyundai Service Center and pay diagnostic fee... they will give you a estimate of repairs (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc), and that way you'll know exactly what's wrong and what's required to fix it.

Auto has 23K and cruse stopped working. checked

I had the same problem with my 2003 santa fe. Do you have any brake lights out in back? Weird as it is, as soon as I fixed a burned out brake bulb, my cruise worked again. The only relation I can think of is that tapping the breaks causes cruise to turn off - so maybe a broken brake/tail light passes a singal to cruise control from some reason???
