Question about 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada

My bravada is all wheel but rvery time it gets kinda cool my shocks go down in the back so what i do is spray some wd 40 on the shocks and waite a wile and some time it will rise . but if its real cold sometime it want even come up unless it warms up out side what do you think i should do replace the shocks or what im confused

This is a signed of worn shocks. the seals in them are likely dried up and won't seal unless it is lubricated. It's time to change those shocks!

If the lock is stuck spray wd 40 down the key hole then try to move the wheel at the same time turn the key hope that helps.

Window goes up slowly

Older suburbans and tahoes can have this problem..the rubber run channels get kinda hard, causing binding of the windows. You can spray some silicone spray or wd-40 into the run channels to help the windows slide up and down easier. Best fix ix to replace the run channel.

the cylinder is seized. spray some wd 40 into the key hole and wait a day then try to wiggle back and forth to free the rusted cylinder

Rear wheel rim will not come off

if it is rusted on spray it down with wd-40 then back the lug nuts off a few turns and slowly blow donuts the wheel should release

How do you replace the ignition switch on 2001 Olds Bravada. when you trun the key the car shuts down completely, no power, and you can not get the key out. after a few minutes the power comes back on and...

The steering wheel ingtion switch is bad, you have to drop the steering wheel after you disconnect the battery then drop the colum down or take it to a mechanic and have them change it out, you may have to replace the steering rod out as well. sometimes the weld breaks and you have to spot weld the switch holder or use a short sheet metal screw and a small drill and screw it down. Also lube the switch with WD-40 so it slides easier.

Back glass window goes down slow after the top is down

This may be due to a simple issue of wd-40 Use some lubricant spray Like WD-40 when window is down in the sides of the door seals and then put window up and down a few times then you will notice its back normal working..

Change left rear tire

This is a somewhat common problem with many cars. Spray the center of the wheel hub with WD-40 or some similar lubricant. Corrosion can form at the hub center, making it difficult to remove the tire. Kick the outer edge of the tire to break it free.

My sunroof on my 96 range rover will not close all the way up at the rear

I have a 99 Rover. Mine fits really tight also and has not closed all the way either. I would open the sunroof all the way and use a ladder or something to get the correct elevation. Get some lithium spray, its kinda like WD-40 spray. Clean and spray all points of contact that the sunroof slides on. Then slide the sunroof back and forth multiple times. Make sure you press and hold the button one more time after if stops on its own. Then apply lubricant around the back of sunroof part that's exposed up in the air. I'm sure it's all your contacts are just dry from weather exposure and time. Good Luck!

On the passenger side of my car the shocks and struts are squeaking. I want to know how to stop this. I have some wd 40 and am ready to spray it somewhere but I don't want to spray it on any parts near the...

The squeaking noise can be coming from alot of different places in the suspention. I would shoot the top the strut where it bolts the the car. The shocks pistons. The base of the spring, Then I would move on the the suspention rubber bushings.

Take car not to spray the rotor or break pads. If you get lubricant on them the pads will be shot.

As for the steering colom try spraying the connector where it bolts to the rack. It will be under the plastic boot.

And white Lithium grease is better than WD40 Get some of that
