Yes you have to pull of the door panel. Nothing complicated once that is done. The wiring plug should be visible after you get the door panel off. Unplug it, and remove the bolts holding the mirror on. Reverse to put the new one on.

How to replace the entire driver side view mirror on my 2011 Nissan Sentra?

You must remove the panel behind the mirror on the inside of the door.It may be a small pop off panel or you may have to remove the entire door panel.Once removed you will see three nuts on the back of the mirror, remove them and unplug the wire. Then reverse the procedure.

find a used mirror on eBay, there are lots for sale. then go to youtube.com and search for a video for saturn mirror, or saturn door panel. taking the mirror off is a step in removing the outside door panels so i am sure there is a how-to video there.

Replace driver side mirror

The entire assembly has to be replaced, can not just replace the mirror.Remove the plastic trim on the inside of the door on the top part of the panel, either comes off with one screw or bolt or simply pull and it has pins in it.Then remove your bolts that hold the mirror in from the inside. If you have a power mirror remove the electrical pigtail, then simply reinstall.Hope I could help..HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

no the door pannel does not need to come off but there is a triangle shaped plastic trim pannel above the door pannel that needs to be removed to access the mounting bolts.

Side View Mirror Installation instructions needed

For a 2005 Honda Pilot, I am a complete Amateur and I had no problem installing this mirror.

1) Lower the window, and only remove the Interior MIRROR panel, NOT the entire DOOR Panel, as some sites my recommend.
2) Once the Interior Panel is removed, the power cable is attached to the mirror, remove this cable.
3) There are 3 Bolts that are BLACK (atleast in my vehicle) that need to be removed.
3) Once the bolts are removed, the mirror should come off easily.
4) Place the new mirror in place of the old one and secure all three bolts, and then secure the power cable.
5) Then place the interior panel back.

That is it!

Replacing driver's side mirror on Kia Sorento

These instructions are for a 2013 Kia Sorento (Passenger Side Mirror)

1) remove speaker cover on inside door panel:

2) Use a small screwdriver to pry it away from the door. Be careful of the paint:

3) The panel will expose the 3 main bolts that need to be removed:
3_18_2013_2_43_24_pm.jpg

4) The cable harness needs to be removed this is located behind the door panel. Remove the one screw behind the screw cover:

Once the one screw is removed it will allow you to move the door panel enough to get to the harness and the 2 bottom bolts.

Here is how the harness looks:

Once the harness is removed and the 3 bolts removed the mirror will come out.

Repeat the steps to re install your new mirror.

Need to replace the driver's side rear view mirror

Pry the door panel loose and let it hang. The power window panel can be pried out and twisted down through the panel to give you room to work. Unplug power mirror connector if you have one. Three screws behind the foam plugs will remove mirror. Be careful lining up the plastic door panel anchors when assembling.
