You can go and see at the chilton books at your local library! or you can call dealership to find out and they may be able to give you instructions on how to remove heater core. but i doubt it. because dash has to be pulled forward. have a good day !!

Can I change heater core in 1989 s10 2.5 no air without taking dash out

The dash does not have to be removed for heater core replacement. Remove any paneling for heater box access and remove box assembly and change core. Flat rate time at a shop is about 1.9 hours to complete this repair

2002 Ford Ranger Extended Cab Heater Core Replacement

Not an easy job. Drop the steering column and remove the dash first. Then remove the plenum. Core is between the plenum and fire wall. Get a manual. Your saving hundreds doing it your self. 30 dollars for a manual is worth it.

Heater core

I believe this model heater core is located at the lower passenger side of the dash and can be removed without removing the dash. Check your firewall side under the hood for the heater hoses and it will give you an idea of where its located on the inside of the car. Hope this helps Chris

Replace heater core is it easy or not any info

Dennis, replacing a heater core is never easy on a car unless you can access it from under the hood. More than likely you will have to remove it from inside the vehicle under the dash on the passenger side. Removing it and installing it is the easy part. Getting to it is the hard part. It is just a matter of removing enough dash parts to gain access to the core. That is the hard part. This is why this is a very expensive repair as the majority of the cost is labor. The core itself it relatively inexpensive. Look under the hood and follow the heater hoses to the firewall. You will then know the location of the core and know if it can be removed from under the hood. If you have to remove it from inside the vehicle just slowly start taking parts of the dash off and go very slow. Take photos is necessary in order to remember how to put it all back together. Some dash panels will snap off and some will be held in place with a screw or clip. Be very careful and do not break and parts. You can do this if you take you time.

My heater blows out cold air all the time when on, what could cause warm air not to come out

either the vent system is stuck on the fresh air intake or the heater core is plugged, Does it smell funny or just cold. this is not an easy thing to fix it takes ripping apart the dash to check the intake flapper or ripping apart eh dash draining the coolant from the engine, replacing the heater core under the dash and then flushing the system.
It can be done but will take some time and thinking to get the dash apart they don't make it easy. your call

Where is the heater coil located and how do you change it,the easy way,ive heard taking the dash off is that the only way

It's not heater coil, it's heater core. Unfortunately, it's on the passenger side under the dash. If you're really, REALLY lucky, you can replace it without removing the dash, but it's not likely. Buy a Hayne's Rapair Manual for your car at Autozone. It's a life saver. (And a money saver.) Good luck.

Heater Core Replacement for 1986 Buick Electra Park Ave

there is no easy way to change out a heater core...you have to take the bottom part of the dash loose and that takes some doing. once you get the bottom of the dash apart you will see the heater core.then you have to go under the hood and unhook both water lines that run to it, you should then be able to pull the heater core out and install the new one

Heater Core

My mechanic tells me it is almost impossible to get to it without
taking out the dash. This will give you the clearance you need
to replace it. You might try it from under the dash if you have a
good back but i don.t think there's enough clearance to get it out.
I bought a salvage 1997 lss Olds and the airbag popped the dash
so we had to replace it. Not an easy task unless you've done it
before.
