How do I repair the ball joints on a 94 buick park ave? Their is major play in my right wheel that I was shown by a few mechanics. I have replaced an inner tie rod but this did not solve the problem.

SOURCE: Tie Rods?? Ball Joints??

at such low milage i seriously doubt that it is the tie rods unless you have a problem with the vehicle wandering down the road. with loose ball joints you would have a alignment problem as well and you would notice a cupping on the tires which you did not mention. I would start by looking at eithere the strut or strut mounts and or the shock and shock mounts for looseness or cracks. also make sure your tires are not over inflated this would cause the shock of the ruts to be amplified to the frame.

SOURCE: every time i turn the

possibly CV joints, or ball joints which on LHs's are usually part of the lower control arm and they are changed together (I.E. control arm and ball joint together as an assembly). 60-70 bucks each if you choose to DIY. but do not forget to check your sway bar end links, as they can wear and make a popping noise. Also if you have never replaced your struts, look into the strut mounts. the bearings in them wear as well and are easily over looked by many "pros". This is something i will be changing on mine over the thanksgiving day weekend, since i will have about 3 days off.

The inner ball joints also have bushings that can be changed but its much easier to just change the entire joint. Not fun for a DYIer but can be done.

How to remove the front left axel shaft on a 1993 buick park ave.

Basically, jack up the vehicle and support it on jack stands, remove the nut on the end of the axle, outer tie rod end and ball joint. Split the tie rod end and ball joint from the spindle assembly. Gently tap the end of the axle to loosen from the wheel bearing assembly. Once loose pull the spindle assembly outward while pushing in on the end of the axle. Once the axle is free from the spindle housing. Will need to apply gentle pressure on each side on the inside CV joint to get the axle to release from the transmission. There is usually a "C" snap clip on the end of the axle in the transmission which may make it a little stubborn to get out. Be sure to not damage the seal where the axle goes into the transmission or you will have a leak

1994 buick park ave.

I doubt it has anything to do with the transmission.
When the brake pads wear most have a wear sensor that drags along the rotor.
Have you pulled the wheels and checked the brake pads ?

wheel alignment, make sure you have it done at alignment shop, not a regular mechanic shop, also some newer vehicles have shims like adaptors, make sure they're on properly.otherways the nut is tight but the ball joint is still loose.
