How to set timing on 97 toyota corolla 1.6l i have set harmonic balence at 0 degrees and aligned knock pin hole with cam shaft notch still wont start

Camshaft gear pin hole aligns with a notch in the camshaft bearing cap, exactly behind the gear. You do not mention if you checked the marks on both cams, before going into the timing belt. they do not move, unless you removed one or both of the cams.

1986 Toyota 4wd pickup: problem starting

in my experience alot of times what happens when ignition systems get hot from running for a period of time the ignition coil breaks down and weakens when old and worn out then let it cool down for awhile then starts right back up. so look into checking into the coil break down for loss of spark

My 03 rav4 dies after about 5 miles of driving and wont start unless I let it sit for awhile anybody have an idea whats goin on?

Its your injectors. Get them inspected and replaced especially if the car has done a lot of miles.

I have an 03 Toyota Corolla "S" and it was running fine then an hour later I go out to start it and it don't start. All you hear is the fuel pump and just one click. Whats wrong?

sounds like your starter is going bad. check the battery connections first. make sure they are tight with no corrosion. Maybe your battery is getting weak. try a jump start. You can have both tested at most auto parts stores.

It wont start it just clicks and then it starts after awhile my battery is fine i have to keep turning the key in the igniction

the starter needs the solenoid contacts replaced. Find a Alternator/Starter rebuild shop in your area and either take your starter to them to replace the contacts or they make do it for you, its a lot cheaper than replacing the starter.

1995 toyota 4 runner starting problem once in awhile

Is the starter turning over the engine when it wont start or is nothing happening at all?
I might have your solution if I have more details.
If the engine is turning over but not starting then switch on the ignition and push it to start. If it starts you probably need a new ignition switch.

Please get back to me .Thanks

Shut off daytime running lights?

You can't disable them it's illegal. If you need to shut them off while the engine runs say at drive-in, apply the parking brake (this works on some but not all cars, and don't try driving with parking brake engaged just one click).
