I f you ear the engine spins but dosen`t start,go to the engine we need two persons to do this, one cranking the engine the other seeing the engine what is appening, take the oil cap filling off and see if the cam is moving at the moment the engine is cranking,if not you have the timing belt or chain broke,

I thought i lost the timing belt. It stalled like it. but its all good just wont start

Did you crank it over or try to turn the crank shaft and see it the cam/s turned. After that look at the crank sensor. Have the codes read first.

What causes my 3 door pajero 2.5 tha fter 5 mins after start something there is knocking noice as if something is touching the timing belt cover

could possible be just that remove the timing belt cover and turn the engine over by hand as it may be the timing belt coming apart.

I have a whining noice comming from under my 2002 vx holden commodore auto.

check the condition of the drive belt as it may be hard/cracked and slipping .check all idler pulleys for free spinning operation as a bearing could be failing causing the belt to slip.

My car is making a knocking noice when I turn. I know I need new tires could this be connected

Probably not, unless the tires were so bad that they tore up some of the suspension.
Have your CV joints on the driveaxles checked. When a CV joint starts getting worn out, it will make a clicking sound during turns. Could that be what you hear? Heavy knocking could be from the suspension, but possibly a CV joint if very badly worn.

Engine will not crank, battery and starter have both been tested and pass, hear a high pitched spinning noise when turning the key over

The high pitched spinning sound you hear is the starter bendex trying to engage the flywheel. The starter may check out ok, but the bendex is turning but coming out. The starter will need replaced.
