Down the dipstick tube. A funnel that fits into the tube will make it a little easier.

I was wondering is there a way to put a v8 caddy motor in a 96 pontiac grand prix se 2 door coup. The motor in my grand prix is a 3100 v6

I would get another 3100 because there is noway you want to try swapping them. It won't work. A used 3100 isn't that high any more.

What kind of motor does a Pontiac Grand Prix have?

Depends on what sub-model you have. If you have an SE its a 3100 3.1L Engine. If its a GT its a 3800 3.8L Engine. If its a GTP its a 3800 3.8L but with a supercharger.

I had my headgaskets replaced in my 1995 grand prix 3100 and now when my car is cold and i put it in gear(drive or reverse) in jerks into gear but if i drive and it warms up it stops it usually dose it in...

With a head gasket problem, generally you overheat the engine at least once. Many people don't realize that the transmission is cooled by the radiator and when the vehicles engine is overheating, the transmission fluid is also running at far higher temps than it was designed for.
Just like engine oil, the trans fluid will chemically break down and form sludge that can do internal damage and block passages. I'd change the trans fluid and add a good conditioner like lucas. Providing that the problem is not severe that may help, but you will need to give it a bit of time to do it's work.

Adding transmission fluid to a 2002 pontiac grand prix se

I am not sure which engine you have on your 202 Grand Prix, but if you have the most common 3800 V6 this is where it should be. Look at the back of the engine compartment just to the left of the plastic master cylinder resevoir.
Here is a picture you can look at...
