Question about Chevrolet Blazer

1 Answer

95 chevy blazer with a 4.3 Vortex that I just put back together after putting in new head gaskets. It ran great for a short time, when had a push rod come loose. I took it to a shop, my friend who runs the shop told me it was the push rod causing the problems. He had it apart most of the way and gave it back to me like that so I could fix it myself to save him time and me money. Got that fixed and back together but now it will not start. I have checked for spark and it does not have any spark at the coil or from any plug. Any ideas where to start looking for the problem?

No spark indicates four possible places,
1 The ignition module
2 The crankshaft position sensor
3 The camshaft position sensor
4 The coil
Good luck

I have a 2002 4WD Blazer. I just replaced tthe head gaskets and now have a bad coolant lea, Fuel leak, and it wont turn over

Unfortunately it sounds like the head gasket/s were not torqued down correctly with new stretch bolts. Sorry but it requires stripping down again and sorting out.

93 s10 blazer, 4.3 engine code w...cranks and runs acdelco fuel pump in january. new plugs, cap and rotor button, new wires and coil. engine has a ''miss'' for lack of better word under load from...

I don' know if this could be your problem or not, but i had a simmiler problem on a 95 blazer i had, first i thought it was the egr valve, so i took it off cleaned it real good both valve and intake, put it back on it helped but it was still there, my friend a cert. michanic said it was in the injection system just a little skip in the engine when you were just crusing down the road at a steady speed like a gust of wind would hit you, at that time my friend witch is a certified michanic at a chevy dealer advised me to trade it off so i did, at that time it would cost me around 800 to 1000 bucks to fix, but i'am sure its a lot cheaper now, as this was 7 or 8 years ago. Thies injection systems were put on the 4.3 vortex engines, if yours is not a vortex i would say its still a problem with the throutle body.

Replace the bulb in a 95 Blazer 4WD switch on the dash

the square box that all 3 lights are held in by can be taken out, just pry it on the top or bottom with a flat head screw driver, once you get it out you should see the wires that connect to the buttons, there are four tabs, 2 on each side, that you can just push in and the back panel should come off, it will look like a circuit board. twist the light bulb left or right and you should see how it comes out, just replace the bulb, and put back in and twist. should only have to twist 1/4 of a turn. snap everything back in place and it should be working. hope this helps.
