Question about 1995 Buick LeSabre
My car starts up fine however as soon as i shift into drive the car starts to shake and when i push on the gas I feel like the car is running out of gas. We have changed spark plugs and wires, the air filter and it was given an oil change. I have a hunch it may be the fuel filter or the injectors but I am not sure. I was running it with a quarter tank of gas for about a month and then we filled it up. The lower the tank got the worse the problem became. The problem didn't come on all at once it was gradual over about 4 days.
I suggest replacing the fuel filter first before taking on any more expensive solutions. I had those same symptoms with my '95 LeSabre and that was the culprit.

Well, changing the fuel filter is an easy job, and the part is pretty cheap. But I kind of doubt if that is the problem. Sounds more like the fuel pump. That's a difficult job for a do it yourself mechanic, but perhaps not too bad. You'd probably need some kind of jack to help with lowering the gas tank. But maybe not.
