I believe yours goes from one side to the other. There are two screws, one on each side, remove the fuse covers to acess them. then there are two screws in the panel above the instrument panel. The rest is just clips that pull out, put the steering wheel in the down position and carefully start pulling the panel off, working from the drivers side to the passenger side. it will come out you just have to be careful around the steering wheel.

Heater core replacement on a 2003 ford sport trac

the complete climate control assembly unit is required to be removed in order to remove the heater core. The climate control assembly is attached by studs & nuts which are accessible at the firewall in the engine compartment. The R134 refrigerant will need to be evacuated and the a/c lines at the expansion valve removed in order to remove the climate unit. Hope this helps. :)

When turning on the air system to bring in air from the outside there is a loud knock inside the dash on the passenger side. It goes away after about a minute. This is in a 2007 Chevy Impala

sounds like the blend door is hanging up or is broken look under the dash toward the center of the car while someone is moving the switch you should see it move or get caught on something bent or broken make sure you check both sides if you have dual climate control
good luck

Stock radio

removed the panel below the radio, clips hold it in and you have to yank it out without damage. then there are two 8mm head bolts behind that panel facing up. they hold the whole frame for the audio and climate controls. then push on that frame with your fingers to pop out the whole panel that the radio and the climate controls are mounted to. then simply disconnect the harnesses and remove the climate controls(three screws and the dials pop off). now you can get to the four 8mm bolts that hold the audio unit in.

I have a 2003 saturn L200,A/c blower was not working, messed with it a bit and put it on heat then it started working and blowing out air but only warm air even on cold setting with a/c button pushed in....

you need to replace the climate control unit in the dash. you can buy them on ebay for about $50. easy to replace.
1, apply emergency brake.
2, carefully pull off bezel surrounding radio, vents & climate control.
3, remove 7mm screws fastening climate control unit to dash.
4, carefully pull unit from dash, (you may have to move shifter out of park)
5,pull plastic tube from the rear of unit and squeeze and pull electrical connector to remove.
6, install new one in reverse order

good luck!

Display on climate control screen is out and i don't see any type of description on fuse panel that fits this problem. AC, heater, fan, everything else works but the display.

U must remove the climate control unit from the dash and remove the top cover of the unit, u will find a tiny twist in light bulb socket with a tiny little light bulb, this provides the backlight for the AC/heater display, u can buy the bulb at any auto parts store, couple of bucks.
