Question about 1998 Ford Windstar
The Windstars over the years that I have owned, 1 had this happen. According to the owners manual, you are suppose to take it to the dealership. I did this and it ended up being a transmission job.
You have an issue with your transmission plain and simple and the best course of action is to either take it to the dealership and have it fixed or investigated or take it to a transmission shop for maintenance.
