How important is this battery? To retrieve it you have to take the dash completely apart. this is a 6 to8 hour job for some one that has done it before.

My 2013 Kia Rio only blows heat/AC through the defrost/floor vents. Nothing comes through the dash vents. What is most likely the issue and could I fix it myself?

Blend door motor went bad or something fell in the vrnt and is jammed in the doors. If you are a decent wrench you can do it.you may need to take some of the lower dash apart and the heater box down by the floor.

05 malibu heater vents blowing incorrectly

The are two controls on the heater. One is the blend door and that controls hot and cool, the other is the mode selector door and that changes the place air comes from. You should be able to see those and the area that controls the air in the plenum. The plenum is behind the glove box. Open the glove box all the way and see if the controls are visible. Activate the mode control to see if the lever moves on the plenum, the problem could be anything from a broken lever, bad control, loose control, or something that fell down the defrost vents.

I have a 1998 Ford Explorer, the air coming out of the vents stopped coming out of low speeds and only came out on high speed. Now it does not come out at all. it comes out the rear vent just fine. Fuses...

YES YOU CAN BUT IF IT WORKS ON ALL SPEED OUT THE REAR VENTS THAT IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM I WOULD LOOK TO THE DIVERSION DOOR SYSTEM IN THE HEATER PLENUM AREA THE TRAP DOOR IS HOOKING UP OR JAMING AGAINST SOMETHING OR SOMETHING FELL DOWN IN THE DEFROSTING VENT DUCTWORK LIKE PENCIL OR PEN REMOVED OBSTRUCTION AND RETRY

If my heater blows cold air out of the heater vents, what could be the problems. The thermastate is still reading in it's normal position and air is blowing out of the heater vents.

Welcome to FIxYa.com

Check the heater control valve and vacuum lines

Make sure nothing fell into dash causing the blend door to not operate correctly

My diamond necklace fell into my heater vents. I was able grab the chain in time but the diamond fell down into the vent. How do I get into the dash AND the heater vents to retrieve my diamond?

A Ford dealer might be able to help you. The vent heat and air goes down to the air heater, it you take that loose the diamound might just fall out.

Check the control cable that operates the diverter door in the heater box at both ends, to make sure that it operates the door when you move the control lever.
