no, try another store. fuses are standard. the horn fuse may be a mini, but these are also standard.

I would try a fuse tester from Walmart or auto parts store that has fuses in a kit form.
Then, test each fuse.. it takes about 5 minutes with the ignition on.
The fuse tester will light if the fuse is bad and the fuse is supposed to be energized.
It could also be the horn itself, or the wiring, or the button in the steering wheel.

If it is a FUSE, u could use a fuse w/ higher amperage just to test if it is the FUSE itself!, The usual problem w/ horns is the RELAY, that gives power(electricity) to ur HORN! Check the wiring and the connection too!
Taah!

How do I fix my horn

First check you fuse make sure its' not blown. If its blown, replace it and it should work. If the fuse is not blown you can buy a new one. They should run under $20.00 at Auto Zn, Orielly or other part store. You can also pull one out a salvage \junk car for under $10.00.

I am using hyundai coupe 1998 model. since yesterday horn is not working. workshop peoples asking me to change airbag. please advise

Open the hood. Find the horn. Put one hand on the horn.
Have someone else blow the horn. If you DO NOT feel a click or hum then no power is getting to the horn. Get the owners manual out and find the fuse for the horn. Check or replace that fuse. See if the horn works. If not working go to auto parts store and ask them to look up horn relay for your car. Ask them to show you where the relay is located. See if you can replace that relay yourself. good luck

2003 mitsubishi spyder horn dont work

In many cases, a blown fuse is the reason a horn does not work. Locate your fuse box. The specific location can be found inside your owner's manual. Inside of the fuse panel, you will find a diagram of the fuses. One of the fuses will say Horn. I recommend changing the fuse. If you do not know a lot about changing fuses, a auto parts store should be able to help you out. Hope this helps!

My horn is not working

Check the fuse for the horn. This may need to be replaced. If this does not work, you have a broken horn. A local auto parts store should help you out with this problem easily.

My horn went out on my 06 Nissan Murano. I'm

The horn doesn't use a fuse, instead it used a relay which is the large square black box you see in your fuse box. There should be one for your horn, blower motor (the blower that pushes the heat out the vents in your car) and a few other things.

Easiest way to see if it has gone bad is to switch the horn and blower motor relay and then try and use the horn and blower motor. If the horn works and the blower motor doesn't then you have a bad relay. You can go to any auto parts store and they will have them in stock.

1997 transport horn does not sound

There is a relay in the fuse box of the car. The most likely cause of the horn stop working would be a blown relay. Pull the relay for your horn and then the relay for your blower motor (or any other relay not need to start the car) and switch them and test the horn again. If the horn works then you need to go to the local auto parts store and ask them for a new relay for your car.
