Car will not start when inside interior gets extremly hot

My car will not start when the inside interior of the car is extremly hot. With this problem i'm having to open all windows and open the car door and having to wait anywhere to 15min to 2hours maybe longer before it will start again depending the tempature outside or if the car is parked in the direction of the sun. what would cause this problem i have never heard of this with any car. Is this a manufacters problem in the beginning.

You have to change the speed sensor relay, located on the gearbox.fixed it for me....the heat causes the relay contacts to expand,so it wont start till it cools down,

2005 nissan sentra 1.8 se has cold air blowing from inside vents with temp select switch set on the HOT position. What could be the cause of this problem?

Sounds like the heater - ac door actuator is not working. This part would need to be replaced, it's not repairable.

CAR WONT START. BATTERY OK BECAUSE I CAN STILL PLAY MUSIC BEEN COLD RECENTLY BUT CAR IN GARAGE. HAVENT USED IT FOR 10 DAYS

The fact that you can still play the radio is not necessarily an indication that the battery is strong enough to crank the engine over. What do you hear when you turn the key to the crank position? Do the interior lights dim when you try to crank the engine?
How old is this battery? In climates with temperature extremes, about six years is all you can expect. In moderate climates (neither extreme cold or hot) 8 to 10 years.
Have you examined the battery posts to see if there is any sign of corrosion? Battery post corrosion is not always visible but usually it is.

My windows started to steam up do the moisture outsides and the rain,so I turned on the window defrost button and blast cold air,bu the windows kept fogging up further, I used the windshield wipers to...

to clear the interior of fog you must put the fan on recirc and #3 fan position.with the a/c on HOT.it will clear as soon as any heat from the engine is allowed to the heater matrix to dry out the interior.if you allow fresh air into the car with fogged up glass, they will get worse as the temp is warmer inside the car than out.(they collect condensation).

Car acts like it is running out of gas

never heard of this before and iam in spain where it gets hot, this is a catch 22 type problem with a domino effect.Change this and that and still no cure just a big bill for parts, try this first park car in shade and then start car and drive with AC on recirculate ,see if still does it with the interior of the vehicle kept cool ,if its ok then a component inside the car causing problems,if it persists then its a component under the bonnet causing the problem.so if its inside the car then it has a high probability of being the ECU ,if its under the bonnet then it could be a mass air flow sensor??or something on the inlet manifold

My 1989 Chevy Corvette,( 350 automatic ) the

More than likely the heater valve is stuck open. You can usually purchase them from the local parts house. As far as the ride most of these cars ride this way. You can update the suspension with newer designs and shocks to allow a softer ride and can even get suspension that is adjustable allowing you to set the ride and performance yourself to your liking. Air suspension is probably also available to allow maximum soft ride.

Car will not start when inside interior gets extremly hot

Hi REast!

Does it turn over but not start and run, or does it not even turn over?

If it is the latter, there are some underdash electrical components that could be the problem.

The most likely problem is a fuse/relay box that is connected to a black wire with white stripe from the ignition switch on one post and a white wire with red stripe on the other that goes to either a neutral safety switch if automatic tranny, or clutch interlock switch if it is a manual tranny.

This is actually an automatically resetting circuit breaker, and it thermally (heat) activated, although the heat source is supposed to be a short length of resistance wire, not interior heat. If this is weak, or if it is exposed to extremely high temperatures, it will kill power to the starter.

Locate this device, and when you have this problem, jumper the two wires together and see if it will now start. If so, then that is the problem and replacement is called for.

Try that and let us know how it goes, and let me know if you have other questions or need further assistance.

Thanks and good luck!
