Did YOU replace the timing belt?... if not, take it back to the mechanic/technician who did.

It sounds like the computer has to reset the idle every time you start your car. Best thing have it tune by a mechanic that has the right equipment to connect to your car computer which will tell you what is wrong .

HI just wondering, does your car normally run "without" the air cleaner assembly attached. some times there is a air flow sensor in the air cleaner assembly.

Loud exhaust sound until engine warms belts also chirping some until warm

Sounds are probubly unrelated. The belt is glazed and needs replacing and/or the belt tentioner is going south. The exaust noise deminishing on warm up sugests a loose exaust bolt or bolts, good luck.

It violently shakes when parked or when stopped with brake applied, doesn't shake when moving though, rpms is like 500rpm constant so between 0 and 1 on the gauge. it also notice at night my lights stay...

If it shakes, it is normally either a bad motor mount (if the car runs fine) or your car is "missing" on one or more cylinders (misfire). The belt will squeal because they stretch with use. That can be solved by replacing the belt or tightening the belt. The squealing sound won't go away until you do one of those two things and is unrelated to the shaking. You PROBABLY are experiencing a very "rough idle" if any of the hoses to the intake (top of the motor) have a hole or crack in them from heat or age. This is common and is the first thing to look for to avoid high repair bills. Bad (worn out) spark plugs or old cracked plug wires can also cause a misfire. You could also have a bad coil pack, but mine has gone 186,000 miles without coil replacement or new plugs or wires and I've only changed the fuel filter once. Another possiblity is a faulty Idle Position Sensor that is not properly regulating the fuel delivery. Normally that would cause an engine light to come on also though and you can have someone at the parts store "read the code" once the engine light comes on.

Cold engine knock after timing belt and water pump replaced

Hi, this could be because the cam timing is a notch or 2 out. The fact that it quiets down when the engine heats up is because the timing is retarded as the engine reaches operating temperature. You will have to look at the cam timing and make sure that they have done it correctly. If that is fine it might be that they have dropped something, like a bolt or nut into the valve cover when it was removed.

Assuming that you are speaking of the radiator fans, they don't normally come on until the engine warms up. If the car was not overheating before the A/C belt belt was replaced, then the fans were working. Start the engine and feel the radiator where the upper engine radiator hose fits. When the thermostat opens, the radiator will suddenly get hot. The fans should come on shortly after that. Check the temperature sensor near where the upper hose comes off of the engine--there should be a wire attached to it. Does the temp gauge move normally?
